Updating the iPad to the latest version of iOS can make it more compatible with newer apps.

Update the iPad to the latest version:

1. Tap on the Settings App (the gear icon)

2. Tap on General

3. Tap on Software Update

4. Install any available updates. This will take a while and may require you to plug the iPad into power.
