Troubleshooting
If the app is not working correctly, try going to the website in Safari. The URL is https://isd701.schoology.com
Error Messages
This error happens because of a bug in Schoology and it can be worked around by toggling off the "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" setting:
Open Settings.
Tap on Safari.
Tap on Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
Toggle it off so the button is gray.
Refresh the page in Safari. The error may reappear, but you can dismiss it by tapping on the x in the upper right corner. The site will work.
Google Apps
Google apps will not work unless the iPad has a passcode set. This can be a simple passcode, like 1234, but it has to have one. Detailed instructions can be found here: Setting Your Passcode
To set a passcode:
Open Settings.
Tap on General.
Tap on Touch ID & Passcode.
Tap on Turn Passcode On.
Enter a passcode.
IXL
If the app is kicking you out after answering one or two questions, redownload the app from Mosyle Manager Self Service to get an updated version.
If the keyboard is not popping up when answering questions, redownload the app from Mosyle Manager Self Service to get an updated version.
If the keyboard appears small and not all numbers are appearing, you will have to quit the app and dock the keyboard:
Tap on the home button to get back to the home screen.
Open Safari
Tap on the search bar at the top of the screen. The keyboard should appear as floating window on the screen.
Tap on the gray area below the keys and drag the keyboard down to the bottom of the screen.
Force close IXL (tap quickly on the home button twice and then swipe the app up until it disappears.)
Reopen the IXL app and the keyboard should work normally after that.
