Internet and Wi-Fi Problems

For Internet or Wi-Fi problems:

Try these steps if you are having problems connecting to Wi-Fi or browsing the Internet. Try each step below, and then test to see if it solves your issue before attempting the next step.

1. Turn Wi-Fi off and back on again:

    1. Tap on the Settings app (the gear icon)

    2. Tap on Wi-Fi

    3. Toggle the Wi-Fi button off (it should turn from green to white)

    4. Wait about 15 seconds

    5. Toggle the Wi-Fi button on (it should turn from white to green)

2. Clear Safari cache (you will need to log back in to all sites after doing this):

    1. Tap on the Settings App (the gear icon)

    2. Tap on Safari

    3. Tap on Clear History and Website Data

3. Reset Network Settings:

    1. Tap on Settings (the gear icon)

    2. Tap on General

    3. Tap on Reset

    4. Tap on Reset Network Settings

4. Turn off Low Data Mode if it is on:

    1. Tap on Settings (the gear icon)

    2. Tap on Wi-Fi

    3. Tap on the name of the Wi-Fi network you are connected to (701hotspot if it is a school-issued hotspot)

    4. If the toggle for Low Data Mode is green, tap it so that it turns gray.
